The Price of Beauty

Hi everyone, sorry for the absence. I would like to say it is because I have been super busy doing fun things but infact all I have done is a round of dental appointments and lost my scrappy mojo.
Never fear, it is back and I am up today with a layout I made for the Scrap Friends Sketch Challenge #6 which looks like this:

I wanted to grunge the page up a little to match the photo (walking around in my stockinged feet! What would my grandmother of said?) so I cracked open the gesso and distressed the edges of my paper with a nail file.

My poor sore feet, those heels kill me but I love them so!

One part of the sketch I really liked was the thread element so I knew I wanted to include that in my finished layout the challenge was to make it happen. So I used a couple of dots of glossy accents and then held the thread in place with some wood veneer stars.

Thanks so much for stoping by, hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Hope your mojo comes back to stay! Fun page. Love the dark background and the fun topic. What we women do for fashion....sigh. I ruined my feet and can't wear heels anymore but I sure looked cute in my 20's!

Anyway, I love your page. Thanks so much for sharing your fabulous layout with us at Scrap Friends.
