Never fear, it is back and I am up today with a layout I made for the Scrap Friends Sketch Challenge #6 which looks like this:
I wanted to grunge the page up a little to match the photo (walking around in my stockinged feet! What would my grandmother of said?) so I cracked open the gesso and distressed the edges of my paper with a nail file.
My poor sore feet, those heels kill me but I love them so!
One part of the sketch I really liked was the thread element so I knew I wanted to include that in my finished layout the challenge was to make it happen. So I used a couple of dots of glossy accents and then held the thread in place with some wood veneer stars. Thanks so much for stoping by, hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Gorgeous page, I love the grunged up look, and the thread looks really great! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and humorous page! I have shoes like that and the price we pay...sometimes I question?! LOL!! Great design :)
ReplyDeleteI love the color combo on this LO!
ReplyDeleteHope your mojo comes back to stay! Fun page. Love the dark background and the fun topic. What we women do for fashion....sigh. I ruined my feet and can't wear heels anymore but I sure looked cute in my 20's!
